Chocoholics Delight

Media Release - 11 August 2008

Melbourne was a buzz with chocolate rushing through theirs veins after a chocolatey weekend at Chocolate Rush Chocolate Festival. Two huge days at the Abbotsford Convent with more than 5000 people wandering through the chocolate filled grounds and seven and half tonne of chocolate consumed and taken home.

This year's festival was bigger and more delicious than ever, the audience enjoying the intimate experience to learn from the experts, taste, touch and indulge in their favourite pass time.

Despite the cold wintry conditions the faithful chocolate lovers came from far and wide:

"Just wanted to say what a great time I had at the Chocolate Rush festival. I braved the cold and wet and attended it today (Sunday). And it was worth it. The staff was very helpful and helped things run smoothly. And I loved the entertainment that greeted us as we were waiting to buy tickets. Good luck for next year. I am already excited and looking forward to it. Thanks, Amy Murray"
